Christantus Uche Fuels Straightforward Crystal Palace Win at Irish Side Shelbourne.

Squad Members Grasp the Moment
This occasion provided a chance for several Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second start after joining on loan from Getafe, opened the scoring with a well-taken goal. Forward Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second consecutive match.

The contest was effectively over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past some comically weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to rest several players like Kamada and Wharton. Replacement Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one shot crash off both posts before being clasped on the line. Uche then blazed a sitter of a chance, showing there is still scope for development in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late injury to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, capping an otherwise perfect evening for the visiting side.
